This is a big bad monster fiberglass hood made for the race track. The cowl of this hood compliments the square lines of the 1999-2004 Mustangs, This hood is built strong with its wide understructure. it’s a winner in our books and a sure winner on your race car.
Only 24 lbs. the 1999-2004 Mustang hood is 4 inches taller than the stock 1999-2004 Mustang. Made wider where the throttle body enters the intake to give under hood clearance for an array of aftermarket modifications. Extra under hood clearance in the front of the engine compartment helping with under hood clearance for superchargers pulleys. The cowl induction is non functional. But just ask and one of our craftsman. they will be glad to cut the optional opening that is marked in the back of the hood or order it as is and you may do it yourself at a later time. At no extra cost.
Made from high quality hand laid fiberglass. Our hoods are made with a tough white gel-coat surface, that resists fiber strand print through. We only use the very highest quality surface coats, better than the general purpose gel-coats that’s used by most of our competitors.
Our Fiberglass hoods are engineered for strength and reliability.
Instead of the cheap inserts placed into the fiberglass, which can be ripped out the hinge and latch. areas. H.O. Fibertrends takes the time to laminate blocks of aircraft quality aluminum into the fiberglass under structure. The hinge areas come predrilled and threaded. The latch is all metal just like your factory hood. So when the hood arrives its ready to be installed. This
hood comes with high quality new Sims bolts for your hinges to help make your installation quick and
easy.
After our hoods come out of their molds, we remove the flashing and finish the edges for you. Filling the gapes left by bonding the top and bottom structures together, Most of the hoods you buy from our competitors rely on you or your body shop to make those repairs before painting the hood. The hood is a non functional cowl
induction hood but as an option can be cut open which is no charge or
screens to fill the openings can be added for an additional $20 charge.

I just recently purchased a 4 inch cowl induction hood for my 1999 cobra.The fit and finish is right up there with harwood if not better. The shape and form of the hood is awesome.It flows with the shape and the lines of the car.I get alot of compliments concerning the hood.Thanks for such a good product and keep up the good work!!!! I'll try to send some pictures of the car at a later date.

I own one of these high quality hoods. It helps to hide the big 5.4 DOHC turbo motor I run in my 04 DSG coupe. I have never received more satisfaction from the aggressive looks of a hood, nor more compliments from everyone that sees or rather stares at the looming design of this hood.
Out of the box, fit and finish was amazing... very little prep work required for a professional finish. I am very pleased and hope to order a second for my 01 Bullitt. Amazing quality....
